Can they be housed with mollies and platies? Why don’t they sell them at most fish stores?

You can look them up online and see what stores seel them. I’ve never heard of them though, sorry but can you help me?!?!

   Yes they can be housed with mollies and platies. they’re community fish. they dont sell it at most fish store becasue they are rare to find.

   I think they are a type of fish that are mean…cuz they are call killfish and it seems like a fish that kills….lol!

   Well, it is a group of fish. like rainbow fish, there are lots of rainbow fish and killifish. There nickname is killies, but there real name is killifish.

   Killifish are small but very colorful fish with unusual instincts and breeding habits. There are basically two kinds, the annuals which only live a year and the perennials which can live for two years or more. Panchax are the killifish you are most likely to find at Petsmart, Petco or Walmart but some privately owned fish stores will sell others. If you live in a metropolitan area, try finding a fish club to join. Most killifish are aggressive to other killifish but they are small so you can keep them in small tanks or jars. They often need live food to survive so you may need to culture microworms or white worms if you want to breed them and grow the babies.
