they aren’t the most common fish.. there’s very few breeders and most are taken from the wild.. hence the low numbers

most people aren’t looking to spend -30 on a 2 inch fish, so this doesn’t help..

don’t live in london.. but gardeneri killis are somewhat common, ask if a local shop can special order one for ya

    Usually your local fish store can order these in on request, but they are not in high demand hence you not finding them.

    Many of the more attractive killifish are annuals or biannuals. The annual killifsh often breed and die in small pools of water, which then dry up in the dry season with the eggs still in them. When it rains again, the eggs will hatch. Due to this complicated life cycle, it is hard to breed killifish in captivity, so if you want them, you’ll have to search out other hobbyists that breed them. Check out your local aquarium club.
