I’m considering buying 100 killifish eggs from a website. I do not have space for 100 fish. I am wondering how many out of these eggs will actually survive…

I would suggest you contact the American Killifish association before you invest in Killifish eggs. You might find out that they are fairly difficult to raise. You need several small tanks and two batches of baby brine going all the time. You may also need to cultivate or purchase infusoria.

    I’ve bred killies, and the previous answer is spot on. You need quite a bit of room for all of this work. IF you’re good, you can get excellent survivability, and sell off the juveniles to local pet stores before they get very large, but you’ll still generally need several tanks for the endeavor.
