hello all iv’e recently ordered killifish eggs specifically Fp. Marmoratus it was 25+ eggs the packaging says they were collected 02-14-10 i opened the package and took out the eyed up eggs and put them in my fry tank that has molly fry and guppy fry and over night the eggs fungused and i disposed of them i was just wondering what do i have to do to get them to hatch iv’e really gotten agrevated with this the fry tank is a ten gallon with about a constant temp of 75-78 degress faerenheit with an aerator heater and filter the other fish are doing great and dont bother the eggs if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated
oh i forgot to mention the fry tank has aquarium salt if that makes a difference

Oops. It sounds like you didn’t do appropriate research on this speciesof killie.
Granted, they could have been infertile, but if purchased from an established, reliable dealer not very probable.
Temperature for this species should be 70-75 F, not 75-78. That could have killed the eggs.
Eggs should not be placed with other fish, even fry.
10% daily water changes is pretty much a necessity for all fry, but of your fishes, it’s especially important for the killies.
Eggs need their own tank, and they need to be acclimated to the water just like fish and plants do.
Unless your filter is a sponge filter with gentle aeration, your killie fry are going to get “eaten”.
Did you follow the instructions on the package? If there weren’t any, you should have looked up info on the i-net.

And check your aquarium carefully, it’s possible they hatched and it was just the shells that fungused. But then the other fry would probably eat the killies.
