Question by jenny j.: fish for 7 gallon hex eclipse tank.?
I need tips for my non-heated tank. I am planning on getting 5 white cloud mountain minnows. But I saw killifish the other day and now i want 5 white clouds and 2 killi fish. Can the 2 killifish live with white clouds in a non heated tank? They are yellow killifish!

The white clouds are fine. Forget about the killifish though.

You could also consider platties which are subtropical fish, as well as ruby barbs. For that size tank though I’d stick with just one type of fish and get around five of them.

   The killifish will be fine (make sure they’re not the brackish type). I don’t recommend white clouds because they need more swimming room than your tank will provide. Get fat head minnows instead.
