WCMM would be fine in a pond over summer, and if you get annual killifish then they would be fine, likely spawn in the pond and the eggs hatch the next year.

There are also Paradisefish that you might want to look at, they make good pond pets for the summer months.

Those fish are fine for outdoor goldfish/koi ponds. As long there is a place in the pond for the fish to shelter on days of extreme heat, they’ll be fine. If there are other fish in the pond (or frogs), you may be providing a meal so there may not be too many fish to bring inside during the winter.

avoid the killifsh as they are rather expensive and any fish in the pond must be concidered expendable do to predators.wcminnows did very well for me in a large pond in new england
