I wouldn’t do that. The yellow lab and the acei will probably have the killifish chopped to pieces in no time.

If you insist on it, you might try a pupfish or a Florida Flagfish (which is, in fact, a species of pupfish). These are fairly rough, scrappy fish themselves, and they are also adapted to the hard, alkaline water that those cichlids prefer.
